Jazz Choir
This ensemble is by audition only, and is open to all choir members from Gr. 9-12. Rehearsals are once a week (usually on Wednesdays) throughout the school year. This group involves a cappella, close harmony arrangements and requires the ability to hold a harmony part on your own. Students learn microphone technique, solo and improvization development and are often invited to perform with the jazz band.
Drum Line
The opportunity to play is based on a learning and audition process in the fall. The drumline marches in parades as well as plays at various school functions like pep rallies and championship athletic events. Rehearsals are weekly.
Music Council
With the busy music department schedule, a group of students are provided with leadership training and experience as they assist in organizing and publicizing music events and fundraisers. These students also help organize social events for the department as well as assisting Ms. Maccaroni with keeping the Blessed Trinity music program running smoothly. Membership is by application and the group meets weekly. Members have additional responsibilities to complete as a part of their role in this group.
